Retina: Brand Identity Design for Swiss Jewelery Brand
THE CHALLENGE:
Retina is a Swiss jewelery brand that creates custom rings and accessories based on the delicate patterns of your eye's retina. Every Retina jewelery is as unique as the customer. They came to us to do a brand refresh in order to appeal to a more premium & discerning clientele.
THE SOLUTION:
Since they have a very unique product and offering, we came up with the platform line, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". We simplified their messaging, and recommended a unique colour palette and a bespoke typeface that would complement their brand. In their new logo, we incorporated the letter "R" as well organic patterns that alluded to they eye's retina.
On their new website, we honored the makers, the craft, and the skill that went into making these unique one-of-a-kind jewelery. But most of all, we honored those who had these rings made - couples who are deeply devoted to one another, and are looking to create a lasting legacy that could be passed on from generation to generation.
